Privacy
The short version: this site sets no cookies, has no accounts, and stores no personal profiles. Opens are counted through a one-way hash that rotates daily and cannot be traced back to you. Analytics are cookieless and aggregated.

Hosting, CDN and server logs
This site is hosted by InterServer (USA) and delivered through Cloudflare as CDN and security layer. When you access the site, these providers technically process connection data such as your IP address, browser user agent, timestamp and requested URL in standard server logs, for the purpose of delivering the site, ensuring stability and defending against abuse (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Where these providers process data in the USA, transfers rely on appropriate safeguards such as EU standard contractual clauses or an applicable adequacy framework. Log data is not merged with any other data by us.
Open counting (no personal data stored)
The leaderboard and stats pages count how often a creator link is opened. To count each device at most once per channel per day without storing personal data, your IP address and user agent are reduced to a salted SHA-256 hash that also includes the current date. The hash rotates daily, cannot be reversed, and cannot be linked across days. Raw IP addresses are never stored by this counting system. Together with each counted open we store two coarse details: a source category (for example “Instagram”, “QR code” or “direct”), derived at that moment from the referring page and the type of in-app browser, and the visitor's country as a two-letter code (for example “DE”), which our CDN Cloudflare derives from the IP address and passes on to us. Both exist only as aggregated daily counts per link and are never linked to a device or a person; we do not look up or store IP addresses for this. Legal basis: legitimate interest in aggregated usage statistics (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Link preview, QR codes and API
When you enter a handle on the homepage, your browser asks our server which video the link currently opens and shows the answer. QR codes are generated on our own server; no third party is involved. To protect the free API against abuse, requests are rate-limited with a salted hash of the IP address combined with the current minute. These counters contain no raw IP address and are deleted after one hour. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
Web analytics
We use Ahrefs Web Analytics (Ahrefs Pte. Ltd., Singapore) on the homepage, stats and leaderboard pages, and Cloudflare Web Analytics (Cloudflare, Inc., USA) across the site. Both are cookieless, store nothing on your device, build no cross-site profiles and provide us only aggregated statistics (visits, pages, performance metrics, referrers). Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; transfers outside the EU rely on appropriate safeguards.
Embedded third-party content
Video preview pages, the link preview on the homepage and the stats pages display the thumbnail of the target video from YouTube servers (i.ytimg.com, Google), and sponsor logos are loaded from the DuckDuckGo icon service. When your browser loads these images, your IP address is technically transmitted to the respective provider. Fonts are self-hosted; no requests are sent to Google Fonts.
The website embed (latestyoutu.be/embed/…) only forwards to YouTube’s privacy-enhanced player (youtube-nocookie.com). Whether it is loaded is decided by the website that embeds it; from that moment, Google’s privacy policy applies. Embed views are not counted.
Redirects and sponsored links
The core function of this site forwards you to YouTube; from that moment, YouTube's own privacy policy applies. Clicks on clearly marked sponsored links are counted server-side as a plain per-day, per-sponsor total without any personal data, and lead to external partner pages with their own privacy policies.
Stats and leaderboard pages
These pages show aggregated open counts for publicly available YouTube channel names and handles. No viewer data is displayed. Channel operators who prefer not to appear can contact us by email and will be excluded.
Contact
If you contact us by email, we process the data you provide to handle your request (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR) and delete it once the matter is resolved, unless legal retention duties apply.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection to processing based on legitimate interest. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority; the authority responsible for us is the Bavarian Data Protection Authority (BayLDA).
